The Lenny Zakim Fund invites you to challenge your intellectual curiosity and show your support of The Fund and our grassroots partners by signing up to participate in our 2nd Annual Social Justice Scavenger Hunt. This year’s scavenger hunt will begin on Saturday, June 18, 2022 at 9 a.m. and run until Sunday, June 26, 2022 at 5 p.m.

Using a custom-designed scavenger hunt app, earn points by answering questions and completing tasks as you learn about the Commonwealth’s rich social justice history and some of the 400+ nonprofit organizations LZF has worked with since 1995 to advance social, economic, and racial justice. The five highest-scoring teams will win prizes from locally-owned businesses.

Founded by the late civil rights advocate, Lenny Zakim, The Fund’s mission is to listen to those most impacted by inequity and provide the funding, essential resources, and support they need to create lasting change. As a public nonprofit, charitable organization, LZF relies nearly 100% on the generous support of numerous individual and institutional donors each year to fund our work with grassroots organizations throughout eastern Massachusetts. LZF hopes to raise $20,000 from this year’s Social Justice Scavenger Hunt, which is the equivalent of two grant awards to our grassroots partners this year.

LZF hopes you will join us in our ongoing effort to develop deep relationships and build bridges among people and communities, by recruiting a team of family, friends, and/or coworkers to be a part of this one-of-a-kind event! Online registration – $15 per person or $50 per team (of up to 5 people) – will be open May 16 to June 15.
