Today we are witnessing one of the most challenging times in U.S. history and it’s affecting folks in our own backyards. The increase in hateful rhetoric is making many feel unsafe; the rise in the cost of living is leaving more folks hungry; the influx of immigrants and refugees is increasing the need for affordable housing; while our young people need all kinds of support to help make up for the lost learning opportunities and isolation created by the Covid-19 pandemic.

Love is one of The Lenny Zakim Fund’s core values and one of the ways in which we choose to respond in the face of these and the many more hardships that are disproportionately affecting those who have long been marginalized. Please consider showing your love for our grassroots organization partners by making a gift support of LZF’s Annual No Show Ball and LZF Giving Day on Thursday, November 17, 2022.

The Lenny Zakim Fund Board of Directors

requests the honor of your absence

at a fabulous affair you will never attend

LZF’s Annual No Show Ball/LZF Giving Day

On Thursday, 17, November 2022 we will proudly present

  • not a single speech
  • no entertainment
  • no cocktail hour
  • no need for fancy clothes
  • no valet parking

Instead, we cordially invite you to join us in spirit and love

by making a gift to The Lenny Zakim Fund and remembering our founder, Lenny Zakim, on what would have been his 69th birthday!

Your participation in this collective fundraising effort will ensure The Fund’s continued ability to distribute grants and provide various technical assistance and pro bono services to those grassroots organizations who are working on the ground with those in greatest need.

You can send a check in the mail to The Lenny Zakim Fund, 33 Arch St, 26th Fl, Boston, MA 02110, or:
